No, details of all charges are clearly set out in your credit agreement. As long as you make repayments in accordance with the credit agreement, there are no additional charges.

No, you don't have to do a thing. If your application is successful the school will automatically be updated. They can then confirm the school fee amounts to be collected from you by School Fee plan. However, please note the School Fee Plan application does not guarantee a place at the school.

Yes, only when your application is approved will we contact your school to confirm fees and extras.

We pay all of your child’s school fees and any extras directly to the school for your choice of one term or the whole academic year.

Yes, 73% of applications are approved immediately. Typically, 90% of applications get approved within 48 hours – after providing further information such as proof of address, proof of income, etc.​ *Approval figures calculated using School Fee Plan figures from 2022.

Once you have applied and been accepted, we will contact your school to ratify your fees and any extras. We then pay your school all fees and extras. You then repay us in convenient monthly repayments via Direct Debit. Once the academic term or year finishes your school can arrange for an auto-renewal for the next term and/or academic year.

Once your application for credit has been accepted by us you can use your School Fee Plan payment facility for the whole time your child is attending the school, but you are under no obligation to continue with your credit agreement.

Even after you have signed your credit agreement, you can still at any time tell us or the school if you want to stop using this payment facility.

You must pay the outstanding balance under your credit agreement in full (including the transaction fee) to us,(if any), but there are no penalties. If, as a result of stopping the payment facility, money is due to the school then you will need to settle this with them directly.

Yes, once you have signed your credit agreement online you have 14 days to withdraw by notifying School Fee Plan in writing.

Yes. As long as your main residence is in the UK, you hold a UK bank account and you are over 18 years of age.

Yes, if you have more than one child attending the same school that is registered with School Fee Plan, details can be added to the same application for ease. You will however need to complete a separate application for children attending different schools that are registered with School Fee Plan.

Yes. Under UK law, we are obliged to carry out an assessment of creditworthiness. To help us do this, we may carry out a search of your credit records at a credit reference agency, or use your payment history with us under a current or previous credit agreement.

School Fee Plan will collect each monthly payment from you by Direct Debit as specified in the payment schedule. This date is advised to you during the application process.

Unless you tell us otherwise, as soon as the school instructs us on your behalf with the total school fees amount, we will send you an amended monthly payment schedule which will cover the payment of the school fees for the entire academic year. But remember, you are free to stop your payment facility with School Fee Plan at any time.

School Fee Plan will have paid the school the fees which have been billed, so you will need to pay to us any outstanding balance under the credit agreement (including the transaction fee) . If, at the time of your child leaving, there is any money due to the school, then you need to settle this directly with the school. If an overpayment has been made, then the school will reimburse you directly.

If after receiving our final response you are not satisfied with the outcome and you are not a business you can write to the Financial Ombudsman, the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Scheme for Premium Credit at The Financial Ombudsman Service, Exchange Tower, London, E14 9SR. Alternatively if you are a consumer (an individual who purchased the service for personal use) you can access the European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform that allows consumers to submit their complaint to a central site, which will forward it to the appropriate dispute resolution service. For Premium Credit this is the Financial Ombudsman Service, who you can access directly on the details above or you can access the ODR platform by visiting: http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/

If your credit agreement is terminated or remains in arrears, we will inform the School and we will STOP making all future payments to them.This may lead to further action being taken against you by us and/or the School, including the school places(s) being lost.
